I have accepted what fate has ordained for my head

1. I have accepted what fate has ordained for my head
And for one resigned, there is no harm

2. So do not blame me if I am stripped of riches
And my belongings are between poverty and bankruptcy

3. If I had known where my sustenance was I would have sought it
But such knowledge is veiled from people

4. And if God had forgotten His servants I would have called Him
To remember me, but He is not one to forget

5. So a person has no stratagem but resignation
Through which he swings between hope and despair
