1. Though time has troubled my days
And my lord, defender of faith and rule, died

2. Yet my faith in God and his way
Gives me a lord who wards off evil in my soul and rule

3. And in my numbers are protection from harm and contentment
And my patience in this age against destruction

4. And if the flood of annihilation rages, then
I am Noah there, and my isolation is like the ark

5. So say to my brothers: walk straight and give good news
All together, for I and wellbeing are on the path
