Unevenly toward Him in yearning ardor drawn,
١. قلتُ للسّائلينَ لّما رأوْني
خَطِلَ الخطْوِ في اختلافي إليهِ
2. "Why do you go so distractedly?" I talked
To them, "Yea, to aloneness with God I'm drawn."
٢. ما اختلافي إليه إلا لأمرٍ
وهو في الخَلوةِ اختلافي عَليهِ
