١. لا تَعْجَبَنَّ لدَهرٍ ظَلَّ في صَبَبٍ
أشرافُهُ وعَلا في أوجِهِ السَّفِلُ
2. Be resigned to the changes of its turning spheres;
He who would buy fortune must scale the heights of stars.
٢. وانقَدْ لأحكامِه أنَّى يُقادُ بِها
فالمُشتري السَّعْدُ عالٍ فوقَهُ زُحَلُ
