١. أتاني كِتابٌ مِنكَ يقصُرُ دونَهُ
سناءٌ وحُسْناً كُلُ شَيءٍ مُكَتَّبِ
2. How much choice phrasing adorns it, all gilded!
How many exquisite, refined thoughts lie within!
٢. فكَمْ فيهِ من لَفْظٍ أنيقٍ مُذَهَّبٍ
وكَم فيهِ مِن معنىً عًريقٍ مُهَذَّبِ
