١. قُلْ للوَزير الذي أضحَتْ خلائِقُهُ
كأنَّها مُستعاراتٌ من المَلَكِ
2. Though great his power and hopes sublime,
How small is earth against the sky's expanse.
٢. قَدْرُ الرَّجاءِ وإنْ جلَّتْ مقادِرُهُ
فيما وهبْتَ كقَدْرِ الأرضِ في الفَلَكِ
