1. Sweeter than sipping from fountains of the fair,
And suckling at the pearl of joy, I swear,
١. ألذُّ من رَشْفِ رُضابِ الحُور
ومن رضاعِ دَرَّةِ السَّرورِ
2. Or drinking cool clear wine in great affair,
Are words of praise from lips of those who care.
٢. والبارِدِ الزُّلالِِ للمَخمورِ
رَشْفُ الثَّناءِ من فَمِ الشَّكورِ
