١. تكلَّمْ وسدَّدْ ما استطعْتَ فإنَّما
كلامُكَ حَيُّ والسُّكوتُ جَمادُ
2. And if no proper words come that you can say,
Then your silence without wisdom is wisdom.
٢. وإن لم تجِدْ قولاً سديداً تقولُهُ
فصمْتُكَ مِن غِيرِ السَّدادِ سَدادُ
