١. تَوَقَّ خِلافاً إنْ سمحْتَ بمَوعدٍ
لِتسلَمَ مِن هَجْوِ الورى وتُعافى
2. So yielded the willow beyond its light
And pouring what it was labeled in variance
٢. فو أثَمرَ الصَّفصافُ من بعدِ نَورِهِ
وإيراقِهِ مالقَّبوهُ خِلافا
