1. If I were able to kiss her hand,
And with it desired the world, I would obtain it.
١. تمكَّنْتُ من تَقبيلِ كَفِّ لو أنَّني
أردْتُ بِها الدُّنيا لَكُنْتُ أنالُها
2. For He who extended it so generously,
Is the religion, the world, and His possession is sufficient for it.
٢. لأنَّ الّذي قد مَدَّها مُتفَضِّلاً
هُو الدِّين والدُّنيا وكَفّاهُ مالُها
