1. I see wealth destroying and wearing out its novelty
Needs keep arising or calamities keep striking

2. So the resolute in his circumstances and his choices
Spends freely on noble deeds and spends

3. And knows glory is the noblest earning
And the breeze of gratitude is the sweetest and most fragrant

4. So spend your wealth on good, confident
That He who made it fade will provide and sustain

5. And leave the spiteful, tomorrow arrogant and restive
To suffer with the traits of villains as they made others suffer

6. Never have I seen anything stranger than wealth
When the wise and judicious man is fair

7. It splits the unity of glory when you gather it
And gathers the pieces of eminence when you split it

8. And they said the path of sustenance on earth is vast
So I said but seeking sustenance is narrow

9. If there is no free person on earth to help me
And I have no earnings, from where will I be provided?
