١. وإذا سموْتَ إلى المعالي فاخْتَرِطْ
عَزماً كما عَزَمَ الرِّجالُ البُزَّلُ
2. If you are content with baseness as a comrade,
Every spot of earth where you pitch your tent is your home.
٢. إنْ كنتَ ترضى بالدَّنِيَّةِ صاحِباً
فالأرضُ حيثُ حلَلْتَها لكَ منزِلُ
