1. How many a goal wherein is for the glance flirtation
It wounds him while he is the wounded of yearnings

2. My luck after its distance and burning
Prolonged estrangement and the sighing of passions

3. A possessor of coquetries and a smile dazzling
Its whiteness to her blackness a coat of mail

4. If the ring were transported while it wrenches
From my waist to her waist it would not be straitened

5. For the heart there is captivity and for tears release
In her love so the tear is quickly outpoured

6. And a meadow the Most Ingenious created therein
For the beauty of sight and the sweetness of inhaling

7. A smile from a tear of deep love rippling
Adorned like gems above the leaves

8. It depicted on the branches strung pearls
Or the Bountiful’s favor above the necks

9. For it there is a hand that deservedly met
In grasping souls and extending livelihoods

10. How many times did the effort render a worker excelling
Thus his promise to the suitor is comforting

11. An orb of nobility transcending horizons
It thrived into branches then goodly were the roots

12. For mankind in its reflection a shining gleam
That gives copiously to whoever sought it as a cloud downpouring

13. It conferred upon me the favors of white hands as necklaces
Do you not see my poetry between the leaves

14. It established for the pleasure in us markets
Followed up from the secret of a heart radiating

15. And even if I emulate the pace of the experts
I fall short of the formula of generalization

16. Can a trivial star overtake a lofty celestial sphere
Or a handful like Nosy the Abundant

17. You were congratulated a year that came longing
To spend thousands of it in lasting glory
