4. The night in its shawl is vague
Upon a forehead whose morning is clear

5. As if the someone glancing at his cheek
Is an ant heading to the nectar of beauty

9. My heart is a bird fluttering from me
And my gaze from it is a breaking assailant

10. He quenched us and increased the cup from his mouthโs edge

12. The wine-pourer denied it avariciously
Until its strong fragrance guided us

13. We found through it a singing virgin
With a seal unbroken by any deflowerer

14. O sleeping one, while the star is setting
And the dawn is brilliant from its rising place

15. Leave life's disturbances, and take the pure
To live, while the toiling distressed one complains

16. The dark night has donned the dress of monks
And the raging thunderer and cloudburst roar

17. The world was generous to its people
And the noble and righteous became reconciled

18. Two honorable and generous kings

30. Impregnable to the neighbor, kind to the groves

32. Say to his enemies, turn back in peace
