1. Improve yourself with righteous deeds,
And do not be impressed by great beauty,
١. تحسّن بأَفعالكَ الصالحاتِ
ولا تُعْجَبَنَّ بحسنٍ جليلِ
2. For the beauty of women is the beauty of faces,
And the beauty of men is the beauty of the noble.
٢. فحسنُ النِّساء جمالُ الوجوهِ
وحسنُ الرِّجال وجوهُ الجميلِ
