1. You remain in power, a ruler whose command is obeyed,
Lion of the faith, Shirkooh son of Shadhi.

2. O generous one, slow to all evil,
And constant in guiding to good.

3. Refuge of Islam, never slip,
You are the best refuge for Muslims.

4. Your might in the souls of unbelievers is immense,
Shattering their hearts and innards.

5. You left no pagan heads or idols
Among the pagans unsmashed.

6. You who descended on the heretics in Egypt
To aid the Imam in Baghdad.

7. And the lands of Islam you saved,
You saved them from polytheism, what salvation!
