1. None but you is worthy of the arrow of glory,
So we ask the Lord of glory to keep you alive.

2. By your kindness you repelled the generous from people,
And by despair in kindness you repelled the beasts.

3. How often you traveled from Egypt towards Al-Arish,
Destroying for the polytheists their palaces.

4. Your armies send ahead of them,
Armies that fill enemies with dread.

5. And the day of Hama you left the enemies
As the wind scatters feathers with the arrow.
