5. To whom can we turn for light after you, O Beacon
When troubles darken our world?

Any betrayal of the cause of truth

9. In the Protection of the Merciful you raise a noble one
Who bore those virtues

10. The rains nourished him, but if not
Our falling tears would have sufficed

Signs you left remain guiding lights

Still stirs the dormant among us
