Do you, like us, suffer misery?

2. Keepers of the lids, is it for parting?
Suffocaters of ribs, is it for meeting?

3. Wanderers with the galaxy, dragging
Towards no purpose or hope or plea

4. Like a flock of cats, thirsty,
Around water denied to them and drink

5. Or virgins around a bewildered bier
In prayer without abating or beseeching

6. For in your tearful glance, yearning
Piercing its arrow into my guts

7. And I see your faint light like a tear
Flowing from white eyelids

8. An aching wound or gashes
You are in the endless dark emptiness

9. You, ancestress of creatures, mother of
Planets, mistress of guidance and glow

10. You cry, O stars, they answered
We are in isolation in this space

11. Estrangement has long been between us, so do not be fooled
By our proximity of lights

12. Each star of us lives far
From his brother in loneliness and aloofness

13. Burning himself without benefit
Losing his light vainly in the sky

14. I understand what you say, O poet
For you are the souls of the poets

15. Thus their light is lost on the horizon
Which they descended like strangers

16. Do not see the souls near them
What in them is of kindling and brilliance

17. So they light up the darkness for a while and pass
In raiments of eternity towards the space
