1. I am envied, say what you will of me
You remain blameworthy

2. My pride is like a sunrise that shone
That clouds could never hide

3. I am envied, O ignoble slanderer
Of ignorance and blames

4. Why does he who takes the Imam Haydar
As his imam not live long in the land

5. With the Book and the family of the Chosen one
Who has made his adherence

6. And chosen the religion of Abu al-Husayn
For the love of the sign of Haydar

7. He who pledges allegiance to Haydar
Will be saved and safe on the Day of Judgment

8. And will go happily tomorrow
The day of losses and regrets

9. And will win in the gardens of Eden
Whatever honorable things he loves

10. And the youths of heaven will pass around
Goblets of wine

11. For many a cup poured openly
Of pure sealed wine
