١. سلاماً أَلَذّ مِن السَّلسبيل
وأَحْلاَ مِنَ الوصْلِ بعد الصدودِ
2. Like the sapling of youth and the spray of meadows
And the breaking of eyelids and the drawing together of cheeks
٢. كَعَوْدِ الشّبابِ ورشْفِ الرّضابِ
وكَسْر الجفونِ وضمّ القدودِ
