١. لهُ لسانانِ من قرنٍ إلى قَدمِ
لا ينطُقانِ بغير السّحرِ والحِكَمِ
2. As though the first of them dwelt
In the palm of a delicate soft hand
٢. كأنّ أولهُ من حيةٍ سكنَت
إلى لِيانةِ كفِّ غَضّةِ العَنَمِ
