Among the learned is a pearl
١. إن وَهب بن مسرّه
بين أهلِ العلمِ دُرّه
2. In his gathering today
Displaying his knowledge openly
٢. كانَ في مَجلِسه اليَو
مَ على العِلمِ معَرَّه
3. When the overseer raised his head
Like the full moon rising
٣. إذ علا القيّمُ رأ
سَ البثرَ ليِّ بدُرّه
