1. The full moon of guidance has risen, reviving the nations
The era smiled, delighted, restoring well-being

2. Sincerity soared in the heart of authority
So the sincere one came to endow it with bounty

3. A reformer met him on the horizon of supremacy
Bringing joy to the people and elevating their ambitions

4. His forbearance heals distress and dispels affliction
In his gentle ways, giving life to the breeze

5. His mind like a sword in its essence
Bringing righteousness with the tip of his pen

6. Resolving grave matters, leaving no complex problems
Amid the darkness of turmoil and confusion

7. The Sovereign of Supremacy has now called him
Advisor of glory and the brightest full moon

8. Bestowing on him governorship of Syria’s lands
To restrain injustice therein

9. Thus the lights of hope now look to him
For the banner of virtue has been raised

10. It spreads prosperity over the face of the land
And shows you pride on the highest summits

11. The state now favors it
Ordering the good fortune of the people harmoniously

12. We all draw from its bounty
Sweet pure overflowing generosity

13. The Levant offers thanks with joy
For that bounty from the Sublime

14. Since the Lord of Wisdom rose on its horizon
Distributing goodness, curing disease

15. He said to the inhabitants, “Settle in its prosperity”
The savior of love ruling Syria
