1. You came with happiness to illuminate the years
And around you are necklaces of hidden kindness
١. أَقبَلتَ بِالإِسعاد تُسفِرُ وَالسَنى
وَعَلَيكَ للطفِ الخَفيِّ قَلائِدُ
2. With you is proper guidance, so I said, documenting,
"Praise in Syria has taken on Al-Rashid"
٢. وَبِكَ الرَشادُ زَها فَقُلتُ مُؤَرّخاً
حَمداً بِسوريا تَوَلّى راشِدُ
