3. On the highest horizon you rose crowned
With glory, astonishing the eyes of the beholder.

4. For your thoughts, springs flow through the lands,
Bringing abundant guidance and diverse blessings.

5. In politics, your wisdom dispels
The darkness of problems with convincing truth.

6. Your care has increased knowledge, so Egypt progresses
To the highest station and most eminent rank.

7. You revived its nation with magnificent merit,
So it points to you as guide and authority.

8. In the shade of our beloved master, you enlightened it
With a science whose banners rose over the four corners.

9. I was glad to visit your sanctuary as a pilgrim,
Yet I am saddened when after my joy I must depart.

10. For your kindness I am thankful, but in leaving
My tongue remains that of a reluctant bidder of farewell.
