1. For religion, in the highest places, you are the shining sword of Islam
In its essence, your brilliant rays shone in the assembly

2. Illuminating guidance where darkness had fallen
Your eyes kept vigil when you waged holy war

3. Reviving virtues while eyes slumbered
With you the radiant era boasts

4. to the ages, and days smile through you
Indeed, knowledge adorned you, O Lord of minds, with knowledge

5. That has honored glory in its station
For Islamic law, you are the sword of truth, shining

6. With you pens take pride
Who but the spirit-soul has a share of your sword's essence?

7. Not random fancy, which comes and goes
That death suspended by its scabbard

8. Assails, while you stand steadfast at the battle
You judged the horizons with your fatwas, flowing

9. With what inspiration ordains
So protect the domain of manifest justice, informing

10. The cosmos, while you are its zealous defender
Raise the standard of truth in this world

11. Borne aloft by your supreme banners
Revive knowledge in the land, be its pillar

12. For benevolence, you are the imam
In you is hope, from you guidance, through you faith

13. For you is praise sung by all people
Our King has ennobled his servants through you

14. Fulfilling their joy and purpose
He said: "Give tidings of victory!" For now appears

15. The elder of Muslims, the shining sword
