1. The best of what pours forth abundance
And brings increasing joy hour by hour

2. It settled in a fertile square and found
A time that rivaled perfect moons in beauty

3. Blessings followed in the homes of Sa'd
And so in the cheek of time a mole was made

4. The horizon was covered by its teeth's smile
Exhilarating the people so a crescent was made

5. It came following the traces of Muzain
That had set an example for every beauty

6. A day of celebration and the rule of a new season
Expanding the meadow, renewing and welcoming

7. The breeze remained, growing gentler
As health and affliction increased

8. It was as if the gardens were a wonderful adornment
The gaze delighting in its extended range

9. Every season of time is wondrous
But spring is the choicest blend

10. And so too the swords are sheathed but
The pen of the son of Husam is the most effectual

11. A lord who won glories and feats
Went high above the highest stars

12. He contained virtue, firmly grasping understanding
If it called to him, kindness would pour forth

13. He scattered aspects of rhetoric until
it almost became permitted magic

14. Favors, perfections, and lights of superiority
the exalted ancestors made into examples

15. Umm Al-Qura took on singing his praises
With a procession of Saud succeeding each other

16. And God granted him noble character
dignity, chastity, and perfection

17. From him are amulets of glories
And necklaces on his neck constantly shining

18. So congratulate, my Lord, with blessings beyond
What God singled you out for, first and last

19. And distant good news follows good news
In Minā visions manifest wishes

20. And preserve them in acceptable containers, for
Your interpretation in praise is no simple matter

21. Remain, and peace to what made al-'Īs joyous
The sands pour forth, waving from side to side
