Has become congenial for us today, a place we frequent

Embracing the branch though it shows some restraint

3. The meadow, arrayed in its dewy green mantles
With the vast, wide-open plains, a sight so pleasant

4. The river, flowing between branches so verdant
Its waves follow on, in constant movement

5. The birds gathered on its banks, chirping with delight
Calling to each other, a euphonious regiment

6. In a company whose glorious deeds
Are recited, exalted, and always lent an attentive ear

7. For they have partaken of the finest ancestries
And in the gardens of knowledge, they have long taken their share
