1. I saw a young man playing with dice
And fate does not disobey him in what he seeks
١. ولاعبٍ بالنَّرِد أبْصَرتُه
والزارُ لا يعصيهِ فيما يرومُ
2. So do you think his fortune will abandon him?
For he is the full moon and the stars are his sisters
٢. فهلْ ترى يقصيهِ اعداده
وهو شقيقُ البدْرِ وهيَ النجومُ
