1. The meadows have extended their green expanse
Like silk that the breeze has gently waved
١. وبحيثُ الطرْفاء مَدَتْ ملاءً
سُنْدسياً قد خَفَّرتهُ صَباها
2. And the pasture became like silk to the touch
As far as the eye can see to the furthest reach
٢. وغدا المرجُ كالحريرةِ مَسّاً
تبلغُ العين فيه أقصى مَداها
