And without your face, there is no light

10. And who will enjoy my repeated praise
When that praise is embroidered by eulogy

11. And who will care for my orphaned poems
You are their guarantor; loyalty is yours

12. So bring the bliss of your life closer to me
And distance from your company is misery

13. So patience, O Damascus Levant, patience
And O Egypt, through it lies your delight

14. The sea of generosity has truly come to you
Increasing the rapture of this loyalty

15. A leader rules with purity and truth
And the glory of the Lofty has no end

16. A flame kindled from intelligence
Its light spread to revive the fragrant herbs

17. I sang his praises, so I trembled in yearning
And the passionate one is moved by song

18. With his masterpieces the spring of merit revives
When winter triumphs in summer

19. And how much glory he built at the beginning
Its zenith matches its start

20. And his glory transcended what he erected
What a transcender in it lies the structure!

21. You see him peerless in knowledge calling
Exclusively to him belongs the vocative

22. His annual gifts are not concealed
As the sun's light has no obscurity

23. He has a face that relates his munificence
And from his generosity flows charity

24. O you from whose grants lies enrichment
And from whose clouds dispersed adversity

25. To your door hoping I have come rushing
And you are bounty; the greatest hope

26. So be generous and mend my broken heart
Redeeming poverty lies in your remedy

27. Remain in bliss and complete fortune
For you are the loyal servants and maidens

28. And ascend to the highest refinements and remain unique
A Shihāb guiding people thereby

29. So your spheres remain lofty
With a sky over the highest firmament
