1. I conveyed the passion of my teary message
And my talent recounted it in succession

9. By God, how beautiful is its spinning wheel
It has shown us eras with it and succession

10. Watered for these springs that
We have planted in every garden a stream

11. Oh, the days we had passed by
After them, by God, my life did not sweeten

12. I swear by what I spent between its banks
I never deviated a day from its path

13. Never, even after its abundant waters
Does my heart yearn for another spring

14. If not for its ruins and your right over my mouth
I would not have recited poetry after it and corresponded

15. O inhabitants of Magna Hamah, you are blessed
And fortunate, the house of happiness is your abode

16. Do not think in passion my heart changes for you
And far from me to say it changes

17. Or you disappeared from my sight but your apparition
Remains forever imagining in my heart

18. But time has wronged me and transgressed
Unjustly, distancing extremely

19. And I drank the cup of separation from it forcibly
Hoping time would transition

20. No harm if time yielded it as it was
Before this day, my first in it

21. And I made little into what my hand possessed
When we met, wholesome and detailed

22. My eyes, I would have spilled its blood
As gold flows and drips on cheeks in succession

23. And I see the blossoming meadows and its full moon
In it is the glory of the religion, lantern of the high

24. The judge of judges and unique of an era
He clarified many ambiguities and elucidated problems

25. The son of the kind nobles, who contained
A high lineage and celebrated origin

26. A sea swift of generosity except
Its sources and springs are sweet

27. No fault in him but his hand
Takes to bestowal congenitally and preferentially

28. And if a beseecher comes to him one day
He shows happiness, delight on his face

29. More fulfilling and abundant in gifts than Hatim
In generosity, and in proverbs most ideal

30. And if he recites advice, listen to his eloquence
You see him rain clouds, most effective utterance

31. If I say lion, he is greatest in might
Or say rain, from it most copious

32. His days have become plentiful
Thus, his era is pleasant and just

33. He is the garden of the highest and joy of its valley
For whoever avoids the garden of highness and is purified

34. Through him the Al-Nusaybi family attained elevation
And he labeled them with honor to the level of highest

35. My patron, an honest prayer he fulfilled it
Hoping it is answered and accepted

36. For time has wronged me and betrayed me
If only from what it did, it retreated

37. The bitterness of begging harmed me and before it
My state was disabled and hindered

38. I have become after wealth seeing
No white or yellow, neither money nor belongings

39. So extend to me a hand for as long
As it has bestowed favors and been generous

40. Perhaps the dawn of daylight will rise, its sun
And I see the darkness of poverty leave me and clear out

41. The mention of you continues spreading musk
Its aroma emanating to us and writhing

42. And to the sky of the highest it ascends
While the opposite descends, falling to the lowest
