1. Stay a while so I may bid her farewell

I have the greatest right to cry and bewail

12. I lost you in youth, while still moist like a sapling
Swaying as the breeze blew over the pinnacle

13. A fruitful branch whose fruits we picked
Then withered and longed for revival

14. You left us a child halfway through the month
Soon after nursing, he was destitute

But has no train flowing behind her

She gained abundant reward

20. If she left the Nile of Egypt
She attained Niles and Niles in the most high

21. There she enjoys pleasant living
Forgetting homes and lodgings

22. And left us in sorrows beside which
Patience seems impossible

23. Alas, to show patience and solace
When fate comes so quickly

24. And death only brings death relief
When grief overwhelms you until it passes
