1. The Khaleel composed a book for us
In it the blossom of youth exudes fragrance

2. From every rhyme we see it sugared
So when we hear it, it intoxicates us

3. In his mind Al-Khaleel's fire was kindled
So there appeared to us in his poetry seas

4. Those seas brought us gems
And so from the seas comes essence
