1. Count it as grace and blessing from the Merciful
Upon you when one seeking good comes to you

2. And truly a man from whom good is not hoped
Becomes burdensome for whoever accompanies him

3. I see the succession of eras with its people
And between them tribulations occur

4. So do not prevent one with a need who comes seeking
For you know not when you will be desirous

5. And if you say yes in a matter, then fulfill it
For yes is an obligation on the free and binding

6. Or else say no and relax and make him relax with it
Lest people say you are a liar

7. If you seek a trait other than your innate trait
Fate will not obey you through difficulties

8. You feign sometimes when you want it
Yet your true trait prevails over feigning
