1. The lowly say, O clan of Qushayr
Do not forget Ali throughout time

2. I said to them, how can I neglect
Deeds that will be judged over me

3. I love Muhammad with ardent love
And Abbas, Hamza and the Successor

4. And Ja'far - Ja'far is the best grandson
A martyr in gardens, an emigrant

5. I do not forget the one Hussein met
Nor Hasan with lesser than them over me

6. The Prophet’s cousins who were closest to him
Are the most beloved of people to me

7. If loving them is righteousness, I attain it
In them is my example, if it is misguided

8. So how much righteousness have I attained and glory
Beyond which the ambitions of the lofty fall short

9. They are the people of sincerity from me
And people of my affection as long as I live

10. An inclination I gave when the mill
Of Islam turned, none equalling it

11. I love them for the love of God until
I come when resurrected true to my passion

12. I saw God, Creator of all things
Guide them and from them select a Prophet

13. He did not reserve it for anyone but them
Congratulations for what He chose for them

14. They supported God's Messenger until
His command took hold, strong

15. And a people who obeyed God in fear
Not making for Him an equal

16. Adorned by them and the clan of Giffar
And Aslam, weakened with him distressed

17. Riding thoroughbred horses marked
Upon them damasks and finely bred
