1. The garden of intimacy blossoms and the lips smile,
The crescent of good fortune appears and glad tidings spread,

2. The citadels of land and sea are delighted and ascend,
To the highest peak proudly flowing with bounty,

3. The state of affairs tells the people renew,
The mantra of congratulations for glory has emerged for you,

4. The orator of truth stands in the assembly of contentment,
Repeating, O my people, the full moon has risen!

5. The precious homeland of glory will tomorrow,
Congratulations to Al-‘Abbas resembling a verse,

6. It honors the throne of the king when one descended from Him comes,
The days rejoiced and the times were delighted,

7. So the people said welcome, as
Egypt dragged the malady of wandering fascinated,

8. Congratulations to us of our Khedive tomorrow,
Due to his supreme position and the dawn boasting of him,

9. He ascended the throne of his royal forefathers,
On a blessed day whose ascendant was triumph,

10. Then you O Prince Abbas without equal,
Inherit the kingdom adorned with might and victory,

11. Renewing feast after supported feast,
For you is the brilliant proof, for you is the command and prohibition,

12. You execute whatever order you desire,
You wield Moses’ staff whenever sorcery looms,

13. For you are the rainfall of a kingdom and the hearts are captive,
So whoever claims any portion, say his share is but rock,

14. Other than the lion Abdul Hamid who,
When the solid becomes severe and the ocean stirred,

15. As long as you are my confident in his banner,
Then you are for Egypt the crown, the sword and the full moon

16. So in the East O precious Egypt pride yourself,
With him the West, for Al-'Abbas is among them and apart!
