3. If you want to declare independence
Nations will rise with you, O House of Rule

4. You revived openly on that night we blocked
All foes, and oppression faded for us

5. On that day, the Caliph sat, pleased,
Abdul Hamid atop the ordered state

6. The throne of the Caliphate he opened with his right hand
The door of amity, his left, the sword of wrath

7. No celebrations happen, O lad
Except this feast, or they verge on oblivion

8. Duties are not complete without it
By consensus, and principles hereby rule

9. They envied you spitefully, it's the way of the refined
With bounty, and God rewards the unjust

10. Let one lost in ignorance plunge on, and be patient as
The noble ancients of nations were patient

11. Yours are praise and thanks from every king
In times of war or peace

12. And for the like of this let peoples work
Or make way in the crowds for one determined

13. You take pride in deed, not talk, a joke
Those made whole by deeds and words
