1. Do not carry for those who are kind to you

١. لا تَحمِلَّنَّ لِمَن يَمَنُّ
مِنَ الأَنامِ عَلَيكَ مِنَّه
2. And choose for yourself its share
And be patient, for patience is its paradise
٢. وَاِختَر لِنَفسِكَ حَظَّها
وَاِصبِر فَإِنَّ الصَبرَ جُنَّه
3. The kindness of men on hearts
Is harder than the strike of spears
٣. مِنَنُ الرِجالِ عَلى القُلو
بِ أَشَدُّ مِن وَقعِ الأَسِنَّه
