1. I love every brother who is kind to me
And overlooks my every slip and fault
١. أُحِبُّ مِنَ الإِخْوَانِ كُلَّ مُوَاتِي
وَكُلَّ غَضِيضِ الطَّرْفِ عَنْ عَثَرَاتِي
2. He agrees with me in all I want
And guards me alive and after my death
٢. يُوَافِقُنِي فِي كُلِّ أَمْرٍ أُرِيدُهُ
وَيَحْفَظُنِي حَيًّا وَبَعْدَ مَمَاتِي
3. Oh, if only I could find such a one
With whom to share my every good deed
٣. فَمَنْ لِي بِهَذَا لَيْتَ أَنِّي أَصَبْتُهُ
فَقَاسَمْتُهُ مَا لِي مِنَ الحَسَنَاتِ
4. I surveyed my brothers but the least of them
For all the many brothers were men of trust
٤. تَصَفَّحْتُ إِخْوَانِي فَكَانَ أَقَلَّهُمْ
عَلَى كَثْرَةِ الإِخْوَانِ أَهْلُ ثِقَاتِ
