١. أَرى الغِرَّ في الدُنيا إِذا كانَ فاضِلاً
تَرَقّى عَلى روسِ الرِجالِ وَيخطُبُ
2. And if he is like me with no virtues
He is equated with a child playing in the streets
٢. وَإِن كانَ مِثلي لا فَضيلَةَ عِندَهُ
يُقاسُ بِطِفلٍ في الشَوارِعِ يَلعَبُ
