1. And love made sweet to me the Sabbath day
When he, whom I have loved, comes to converse.
١. وحبَّبَ يومَ السَّبتِ عنديَ أنني
يُنادِمُني فيه الذي أنا أحببتُ
2. Strange that I am Muslim true, devout and wise,
Yet the Sabbath is the best day in my eyes.
٢. ومن أعجبِ الأشياءِ أنيَ مسلمٌ
تقيٌّ ولكن خيرُ أياميَ السبت
