1. You claim to the slanderers that I am corrupt,
Though I am not what you knew me to be.

2. By God, my intention has not been corrupted,
Rather it is you who corrupted me and blamed me.

3. You betrayed my covenant intentionally and deceived me,
So I was afraid, though had you trusted me I would have been faithful.

4. To God I complain, not to you, for long have I
Complained of Him who cast me unto you, yet you increased me.
