1. Your brother who was infatuated with your memory
Repents to you today for what has passed

2. So if you do not wish to unite with him
And you were not longing for him, then pardon him generously

3. By He who spared you from what afflicted me
You will regret it if you please him, that he regrets

4. By Allah, his rejection in the past
Was not out of boredom or disdain

5. So do not be suspicious of one who was deceptive in his rejection
And showed aloofness and frowned

6. For he was not distracted from you by amusement, rather
He held back for not finding a way forward
