It could be drunk like wine, or eaten as bite

11. You wish it would overflow upon mankind
So there'd be no envious or fault finding wight

12. You wish it'd overflow upon the dead to revive
Or so the bones might rest from their plight

13. A small part of night hurried by, though we were used to it
Lingering, as our reproacher, watcher and spy

14. You said "Plunge your eyes into mine" and so she plunged
One eye hungered while one brimmed with life

15. You said "What do you see?" All was darkness around
As clouds obscured the moon and increased night’s might

16. I said "What no eye sees, nor ear has heard its chimes"
You said "I understand what you desire, but in my home

17. Is rubble, and around it the wolves roam"
Oh if only heaven would speak and earth understand

18. Beyond this, only the doves spoke of love's height
If only hearts were pure and minds pristine

19. Then ideas would be sound and insights bright
What mind has any right over the heart?
