1. You are all there is in life, my hearing closes
And my eyelids seal shut

2. Your sweet voice, nothing else have I heard
Except your eyes, none else have mine seen

3. No matter where I turn, I feel you near
You fill all my desires and wants

4. Fill the river of life, my soul grows
Thirstier whenever my lips drink

5. Yet I feel a fire within my heart
Can love hold sin in my heart?

6. A fleeting obsession haunts my soul
And tightness my lungs sense

7. The water of your eyes, why does it solidify
Lives and hardens as if evil lies in it

8. What specter do I see through my doubts
That has not yet melted in the flames of my passion

9. You are to me in my reality and imagination
Mine in my wakefulness and mine in my dreams

10. If there remains in my blood a shred of poetry
And fantasy, you are what’s left of me
