1. The sons of Salah gained from His breast
Wisdom, righteousness, and noble quest

2. Shunning what would their glory depress
And grasping speech that brings success

3. I visit them to gain my needs
Not heeding slanderers' spiteful deeds

4. With zeal they braved seas of knowledge
Turbulent waves no sailors could breach

5. On their brows shine lights of His glow
Like lanterns shining bright as they go

6. His fragrant breath to them is blown
Drawing deep the scents He has sown

7. Drinking the wine of His guardianship
Transcending where bees range and skip

8. Intoxicated with love of their Lord
Turning away from lies abhorred

9. O envious ones leave them be
Rivaling God's loved ones blasphemy

10. Deny not the gifts they obtained
Covet not what the Opener ordained

11. You've seen them break conventions before
So avoid them and safety ensure
