1. We sat waiting by the door yesterday
Spurned and rejected forcefully

2. We blamed the servants until when we were tested

5. We were patient until just before noon
When some of them came out, rejected

6. The place filled with people and roughnecks
Who scorned and blocked our way

7. Hinting that we should go, until when
They were embarrassed, they rudely cast us out

8. So we left in a moment, that if flesh
Were cooked then, the burning wood would suffice

9. By my life, you surely thought me
A grave sinner, harsh and spiteful

10. You sought further torment beyond this
When you found no more to add

11. It was as if my good opinion of you was in vain
I deemed you far from all I suspected you of
