1. The narcissus emerged in its wrappings
Saying to the rose, “I have left you behind

2. You kept making my body sick
My eyes weeping with tears of love

3. How could you mix in and overcome
The lord of lights, how strange!

4. My name is but my lament, so do not
Suspect me under any suspicion

5. If not for my hope that we will meet
I would not have endured an instant

6. His virtue is the virtue of Abad's son Abu
Al-Qasim the judge, outstanding among the Arabs

7. A king, if he were not praised with praise
He would say to the world, “My wood is enough for me”
